I have a set of plastic nuts but I can't send them to you for ten days as I'm in the Great White North (-22 this am) (darn). If you still need them then let me know and we can work something out involving your first born or some dancing girls or something.

Lanny, you can have my first born. I don't feel like diaper training anyway.
Anyway, I'm going to go to Home Depot and see if they have any nylon fasteners. I recall from my RC car days that they made nylon nuts that would be self-threading. Maybe if I can find ones the right size, that'll work. Come to think of it, there's a hobby shop not too far from my house as well...
If that doesn't work, I guess I'll go to the stealership or something. I'll let you know what I come up with!
BB.

Good news! The local hobby shop came through!
I picked up a couple bags of these nylon nuts and some washers. The nuts needed to be drilled out a little bit and it wasn't always easy getting started with threading them on the studs. But with some patience (and liberal amounts of strip caulk thrown in for good measure) I was able to install the side extensions.
The passenger side didn't come out to be quite as smooth as the driver's side did, but it's low enough to where it's doubtful anyone will see it.
Now, on to the powdercoated calipers...

Brian, the common metric eq is prolly an M4 bolt & nut.
I know the M6-1.0(x length) and M5-0.8(x length), thus, this looks like an M4-0.6.
I deal with metric automotive fasteners all day long. My last chellenge was to try and find a seat bolt for an RHD SE JDM only '07 Toyata Land crusier--not a pretty sight.
Good luck.
