I gotta agree with Jim, i think auto-x is harder on a car than DE. You will drive 10/10th and sometimes 11/10ths. The sharp quick turns really do hell on suspension parts and your at the top of 2nd most of the time.

Im actually second guessing driving the 450 miles out and auto-x'ing it.I may just go for the company...though ill probably end up regretting that watching everyone having fun.

I don't believe it. A 3 way tie for the first three, 13 apiece. I guess it really IS up to me! How many car shows do they actually ask the participants "What date do you want to have it?"

I plan on making it anytime, but this time around be it at Nelsons or doing an AutoX I really want to give my friend a ride in the car around whichever circuit. He helped me pull an alllll nighter at last years Fest fixing a damn exhaust leak at the turbo so it would be ready to rock and roll at the track the next morning. Plus he was always right there for the later boost leak probs the next day and I could not give him a ride on the track or even get him a ride with somebody else. If it was not for my pal Dave the weekend would have been shot as far as track time was considered and he was in part a huge reason why WE both won the 06' 944 Fest Spirit Award. Bottom line we still had a blast and meeting everyone was a real treat as well!!

Here's to you buddy
Yes, the turbo is on that side of the car

DAN because of you i am going with the bilstiens cups coil overs. my goal was to really try them at the Nelsons track. i am only prob going to do a couple of de's and i want that to be on my list. I really hope we pick that out. I think last was year was a really good turn out. Even if you have increase the price up a little and the J/P prices up in Dairy Queen lolol . My vote is for whenever ISN'T the last weekend of the month. Working in the car business, it's pretty taboo to bolt on the "big finish"!

Oh, and I prefer to track my N/A and catch the Turbos in the turns!
