I'm currently trying to convert/upload a lowres video from todays cruise to Port Douglas. I had the only P-car. Lots of Aussie Holdens/Fords/Toyotas (yes we are responsibele for the Camry!), Mega Jap imports.
Used my little Nikon CoolPix stuck to the dash, to film some of the twisty ****.
Will take it up the mountain next week to get even better pics now that I know it works.
Will post links as soon as I have it ready.
Need .mov/.wma converter (freeware). Hints.
Also freeware editing, though if I convert can probably use Windows Movie Maker.?

Figured it out.
Here is the YouTube link.
This is a low res version.
The road is the Cook Highway north of Cairns. There were about 60 cars behind me. No hooning/speeding or overtaking whilst in convoy.
We raised some eyes on the parade through Port Douglas.
Check out the idiot in the white van 1/2way thru! He overtook at least 10 cars before me, I saw him coming and slowed.
Next video will be a blast up the Gillies highway. 80+ bends in about 10km, uphill and narrow.
