Exclamation installed autothority maf,chips=fuel pours out
exaust????????ya like crazy amounts too...............hard to install chips wrong,fit one way...............this is my 89 s,miss pristine....fuel drips non stop after start attempt just past my tial w.g...lowpoint of exaust ,....ive messed with pot and with no success only no start and plenty of gas fumes ....help o wise 951 tuners....... i could use original authority install procedures if ya all have some access....thanks bros.......

That makes sense. The part about it being hard to install the chips wrong does not. I suspect one chip is in backwards or not all the pins are in place.

i suppose your right ,i just had to throw that out there ..i am in need of install info ....i was ebayed again!!!!!!some times you have to just ask for help........

IIRC it is possible to install the DME chip wrong(might be different with the newer chips with more pins). But I think the result is a no start.
Pot is only for cold start/idle IIRC.
Original APE install is a craptacular photocopy with some sad sharpie marker notes scribbled on them

umm gas on your exhaust? i dont see how thats related in anyway to chips....???

injectors seem to be at wide open at the first sign of ignition.....i mean a lot of fuel ....

your fuel rail is properly tightened down and the injectors are fully seated into it?

My chip in my N/A goes in backwards to work (opposing notches). Fuched me up for a couple of weeks until Legoland figured it out. Maybe you have one of those wiggy DME's like me.

you can really blow injectors out well when dme chip is in backwards
