I'm using a Craftsman SUV jack. It's heavy but it goes up 21-1/4" so I get some welcome extra clearance.

Get one that can handle low cars... that's all I can suggest. The standard crapsman, canuckian tire jacks don't even fit under my Jetta during the summer (lowered 1.3" all year, but running 195/50R15 summers drops it that extra bit).

If I ever get a new jack for the shop this is my first choice by far. I have two cars that are too low in front that need a deep reach to get to the crossmember. I've used a friends and it is great...29" lift/3.5" min. clearance. Usually about $350 though.

I just picked up the aluminum jack from costco on sunday. I was doing some bulk shopping before I headed out to school later that afternoon, so when I got home to pack, I didn't have time to even open the box to check it out. Hopefully I will give it a shot this weekend.
