Just took delivery of the new cam tower, took a pic of it next to a painted red cam tower for comparison sakes... Looks gorgeous and deep, also got the brake booster heatshield and fuel rail at Jesse's for chrome powdercoat and all my hard coolant lines and j-pipe at Indy Powdercoating getting shot in Black Chrome. Only thing left to decide is what color/finish to do the hard pipes in.

The red cam tower on the first page with the black lettering looks phenominal.. i may need to get one of these when my cars in the shop during the rebuild process.

I usually frown upon those who spend their time polishing instead of driving - but wow - those parts look amazing!

Gorgeous, I think Dan P's comment may have been a bit pre-emptive in the SamGrant Vs MPD47 944 Fest title race now that I've seen this!

Are the distributor housing pieces in the silver color? (the lighting in your pics makes it look a lot more subdued than the ones jg took)

Haha - Its all good, although this year is probably the only time my car will ever have more "go" than your car.

Finally got the cam cover on and took this pic. It's black and is very glossy. Thanks Jesse...now you see why I was asking about the distributor housing set! Let me know when you get more S2 parts (like the 8v sale you have now!).

got my parts back too, those of you that are hesitating, or waiting... STOP WAITING, if you have been wanting to clean up your engine bay, this is the way to do it. Im still waiting for vaccuum lines and fluids before its all back together, but im sure it'll look bitchin!

Thanks again Jesse
