Here's a shot of my Cyberdyne gauges in operation. Yes, they ARE on and show 0.00 boost and 28P fuel pressure (but only in the shade/dark). In direct sunlight (or even in indirect sunlight), they always show 8.8.8 and 8.8.8. And the "black" faces are ALWAYS bright orange.
They're coming out and getting replaced with a couple AutoMeter Sport Comp gauges.
I wanted the Cyberdyne amber gauges because they would "match" the Innovate XD-16 gauge (LC-1 wideband), which currently shows "E2" because the sensor isn't hooked up yet.

Sport Comps are in! ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
They work nicely. Boost gauge is accurate as compared to the Greddy Profec B Spec-II EBC and the dyno. And the best part is that I can read them easily.
I painted the silver bezels with VHT satin black expoxy paint, and covered the LR gauge panel with leather. (The jack is for the serial cable to connect the Innovate XD-16 AFR gauge to a laptop. I didn't want to keep the serial cable coiled up under the dash. Now I can just plug and unplug as needed.)

Well, yes. Considering every photo on the web from vendors sites and from Cyberdyne's site shows that look (with color options -- black or silver bezels and red, blue, green, or amber numbers). They all show the solid black face. They also describe a solid black face. I was very disappointed. Very happy now with the AutoMeters.

The pics with the Cyberdyne's show the A/F gauge not yet connected to the sensor, so they show an error "E2". The pics with the AutoMeters shows an AFR of 14.8 at idle. It fluctuates a little between 14.5 and 14.9, but usually settles in around 14.7.

Oh, sorry. That pic was just a photoshop mock-up of several possibilities I was considering. I got the gauge pics from the web. That A/F gauge pic was from Innovate's site. The purpose was just to get a feel for the various looks.
