Default 951 Airbags and ABS When Did They Become Standard?

When did airbags become standard on 951s?

Also, did ABS become standard on 951s or was it always an option on 951s?

I know ABS became standard on 89 NAs, and was standard on S2s.

Airbags were standard on 944 Turbos in 1987, I believe they were the first car in the US to have both driver and passenger side airbags as standard equipment.

ABS was an option in both 87 and 88 (standard on the 88 Turbo S cars), and was standard on the 89 Turbos.

I believe you are correct.
There was a Tech question in this month's Excellence magazine which incorrectly stated Porsche introduced airbags with the 964-model 911.
