dielectric grease on the turn bulbs?
Hey
A pebble went through my front right turn signal the other day.
The right side would blink much faster than the left, and the one that got hit didnt work at all
I bought a new assembly (something just unsatisfying about just a new lense). The old bulb was still okay so i cleaned the contacts and put it into the new assembly.
It now "works" but still blinks faster.
Clarks says to clean the contacts and it should resolve the problem, but I did that. It also says to use dielectric grease on the bulb contacts.... is that NEEDED?
Would the grease solve this? Or should I just throw down the $2 on a new bulb?
Thanks

Yeah I'm sure I will.
I'd still like to know if the grease is NEEDED and why... I'll use it, but I kind of want to know why. LOL
Does a lot of water get into the assembly?

Use it so the bulb doesn't seize in the socket.
