Looks like it. They are a bit rare, but not very sought after.
Like most early 924s they aren't worth much, and getting it back on the road might end up being costly. Still, early 924s are fun little cars and even though they are short on power they are fun daily drivers.

There's one that gets concoured here in the Chicago region fairly often. Owned by a really nice lady and always a pleasure to see the limited edition displayed.

Very nice car to have. $1,000 is a good price. Audi motor troublesome in it unfortunately along with being underpowered. Would be a very nice collector car!

For a grand I'd pick it up. They're not bad cars although they can suffer from rust issues (pre-galvanizing, I'm pretty sure).
The Audi engines are a little sluggish, but at least you have the peace of mind knowing they're non-interference.

Quite a pretty example! The '77's did have some galvanizing, just not the whole body.

Not in as good of condition as the one the OP posted, but I thought i'd get it out there.

If maintained properly, 924 engine is not giving any troubles at all!
I have '83 924 Euro as a daily driver and I've driven it for two years now without a need opening the hood (oil, belt and filter changes apart).

"Any time, Anyplace, Anywhere" - The catchphrase for Martini.
The first limited-edition 924 was labeled the Martini Edition and factory order number M426. Also known as the Championship Edition, it was a celebration vehicle of Porsches racing triumphs.
It was distinguished by front and rear sway bars, leather covered steering wheel, red-white-blue Martini Rossi striped on the outside and on the headrests, white alloy rims, scarlet red carpets with matching fabric inlays on the black vinyl seats. The vehicles were built from December 1976 through March 1977.
It carries a plaque on the centre console celebrating the victories of 1969, 70, 71 and 76 Martini Rossi 935 and 936 racing cars.
This car is in excellent original condition with the desirable air conditioning, history and one of only 25 delivered to Australia, it is an interesting alternative to an MG B and cooler!
