944 Dash Recover Defroster Vents Final Solution
After several different aftermarket pieces I decided a solution comes from Porsche.
Porsche part number 928 552 309 51 is the defroster trim piece for a late model 928.
Here's some pix.
BTW,
For those of you over the pond, we've done the 944 dash covers, both upper and lower sections in the right hand drive versions.
And the early 944 and 924 version is also available.
If you enter "Rennlist" in the "Discount password or coupon number?" on the shopping cart page on my site, you get 10% off your order.

Right now about 3 weeks. The holidays are slowing things down a bit, normally its 2 weeks give or take a day or two.

cool...i may be in touch later this winter about doing that then. Also, do you do recovers of headliners too by any chance? If so, how much would that cost (presumably not including shipping, unless you have a figure for that) or if i wanted to change from a brown to black interior, would I be better off just trying to redye the headliner. Thanks

Either way I would say some SEM would be fine there. Landeau black.

thanks...i'm talking about the actual headliner because my car doesn't have a sunroof...
at the same time, I'm a bit on the fence about the switch to black...it'd probably end up being a fair bit of money (new door panels, center console, carpet, misc interior trim) and i'm not really unhappy with the interior how it is now (except for the dash cracks). Its just I'd like to try and integrate my momo seats a little better with the rest of the interior (or possibly sell them and pick up some brown sport seats). I'm not sure...a lot of this is just thinking out loud at this point...
