Default Picked up turbo parts car - adventure

I bought this parts car on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=016

Went up with Albert to pick it up yesterday. Was quite an adventure as both of the trailer tires blew out on the way back. Thank goodness for Wal-Mart

The car was hit pretty bad in the front and side. I found three un-opened cans of beer, a whole lot of trash and $4.50 in loose change as I cleaned her up this evening.

I saw that on ebay i little while back, cool find! You rarely see late cars with all brown interior.

They were probably drinking the beer when they wrecked it!

The car has a cool dealer installed radar detector with remote sensors - out of date by now I am sure but still neat.

The car has been repainted but it looks like it was done in the original color. Here is a pic of the rear option sticker with the paint code on it.

That really wan't a bad deal for 951 drivetrain and other parts. Could be put into a good shell with relatively little work, and still have parts for sale to offset some of the costs. Good find.

Albert and I would really like to do a turbo cab and this may be the motor for the job. We've already got a limited slip turbo trans set aside. Now to find a decent car with a blown motor......

I think I may have been a little on the high side considering the limited appeal of the brown interior parts but oh well.... There was another $150 in gas and $100 in trailer tires to add to the overall aquisition cost.
