Good call Jeff, I was starting to think that nobody would pick that up. I got tags for the car on Friday and I'll be driving it daily in about a week, it's scary fast compared to any stock 944/951.

the real story is..... the fellow hit the back of a pick-up and that's where the trailer hitch ball went thru. he just made a neater looking hole out of the damage

Kinda like one of my wierd ideas
I was thinking about putting a small one in the left headlight cover to see if more outside air could be shoved in around a cone filter or open top air filter box on our '84. Got an extra cover or two laying around so maybe it is a project I could handle right now.

I'm still futzing around with mine. At least I have all the parts I need for it. Finally. 'cept for an external oil cooler - gotta' pick up one of those at some point, but I'll worry about that later. All I need now is about six months off with nothing to do and I can finish 'er.
But oh yes, it'll happen.
I want to check yours out sometime. . .
