Not often a graphite hits the market. someone should jump on this if you are looking for that color.

If you can keep it, try to do so. Realistically this is a tough time of year to try to sell a sports car, you will usually take a beating. Plus, with the mileage and paint condition, you will be hard pressed to get what you are looking to get. That's not a crack on the car at all, it's just that 86's don't command a premium anyway (even though I like them best due to the early offset) and what you are looking for is what ones with nice paint and good tires go for (that also have current maintanence). Again, no crack on the car, just trying to help. Needing paint and tires is going to really hurt you on this one, irrespective of the rest of the car.

Good luck! Love that color.
Can I ask why you like the early offset? I have an 86 and I keep hearing how much the offset sucks because its impossible to find wheels that fit. I would love to be persuaded otherwise.

It is all about the lip baby! Looks much meaner. I have 7 and 8 X15 fuchs which I traded for, but Tifo's setup is the baddest. Tifosiman, please show him (and us) that fantastic pic you posted in another Fuch's for sale thread. It is not my place to do so.

For me, I just prefer the steering feel of the early-offset cars.
It just feels more direct and light, which I attribute to the suspension geometry.
As for wheel choices, you can fit many of the late wheels to an early car if you want to with the use of spacers......but not vice versa.
Here's another gratuitous 7&8" Fuchs shot (mostly for mjaffe ;^)

still plenty of wheels out there for early offset- if you have the $ there are tons of aftermarket- not quite as many stock wheels that fit though since boxster etc are late- unless you like spacers..

I am asking 8k for it, might go as low as 7k..and while it may be high priced for the paint condition and needing new tires, its really all I could logically take for it considering what I have to pay out

Thanks. Sorry for the Threadjack Mr. Raven. Bump for an excellent deal on a fantastic car. Wish I had the money.

I would easily pay 8,000 aswell. Sounds like expensive maintenance was done, and that it was meticulously maintained. If you must sell it, good luck with the regret

The car is officially up for sale. If it doesn't sell, i don't know what to do, but I guess I will be kind of happy...heh. Asking $7500. Will take partial trade plus at the minimum $4500. Hopefully I can get a couple pics of the faded paint and stuff so everyone can see it.

Where is the car....GA?
No, the car is currently about 40 miles from where I am living now, which is Lexington, NC. It is located in a garage in Oak Ridge, NC. If someone wants to trade a 911 GT3, I might consider ;-)
