Default OT ashamed to admit it but...

I cannot tell a 928 from a 968 just passing by. Nothing I can see in pictures (as I don't get to see many in person around here) makes them VERY apparently different.
If I walk up to them I know the difference, but if I saw one go by one the road I wouldn't be sure.

What are the real apparent differences I would be able to pick up on?

Thanks for responding to this pointless thread.

ahaahah...i have kind of the same problem...for some reason the front-end from both cars look identical to me....i just wait to see the car creep by me...and then i see that the bigger car must be a 928..

The fender lines are different up front and marker lights
The 968 has the rock guards that look sort of like a 944 and they have the sharp rear fender lines as well.
The 968 also has a roof antenna toward the back of the roof.

Well that is an early 928. The later years got a different body style that makes it harder to tell them from a 968

While you're in there, you may as well avoid this common mistake as well:

Size should be THE most obvious clue.

One of the more noticeable differences is that the 968 has the raised fender/hood area following the headlights (like the 911's) while the 928 has a flat hood.

Easy - 928s are ugly, 968s aren't!

While were on the subject of embarrasing questions...

How do you pronounce "fuch"? Is it like foooch or fuuuk?

I say it the second way - the u sounds like the curse word, but try to make the K sound a little more like a ch instead of a k (don't know how to decsribe it).
