.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Sorry. That info isn't ever really published by the manufacturers... but if people are really, really interested, I might be able to check out a donor shock or two if somebody wants to buy me lunch.

If I'm understanding everything correctly, my 87 924S uses early suspension parts and late wheels, therefore these shocks will fit my car? Mine are definitely worn out and need replacing. Thanks.

it really is a shame that no porsche enthusiasts havent pooled their resources together to make for a definitive comparison of all the dampers out there...
i myself dotn have direct access to a spring/dyno tester but i'm sure someone else here does, esp the guys with some spare 911's and what not...
for instance, here are some MK4 VW shock comparisons, one could draw the comparison to a 944 sicne the vehicle weights are almost identical and hence not much need for re-engineering but you never knwow..
so i dont know why you are laughing so hard, if a bunch of VOLKSWAGEN enthusiasts got together and got these tests, i really dont see how some Porsche guys cant do the same....
