Default Auto Gears can i use?

I have an auto and I was wondering if it is bad to use the 1/2/D gears in order starting from one and rev it to like 5000rpm?

What are you trying to ask us, sir? If it's okay to drive an automatic like a manual?

If that's the case, read my sig. My first car died in part to that. Within three months, it spit up a diff pin (I suspect) and shot a hole through the case itself, symbolically bleeding it's red tranny fluid all over the side of the road.

Drive your auto like it was meant to, or convert to a manual

If you punch it from a stop, by default, the gears should only shift once you near the redline. Keep it in D.
