Anybody know what size socket I need to remove the oil pressure relief valve?

I think itwas 24mm, the same as the crank bolt. not sure, may have been 22mm and I think that my early(86)OPRV was like 19mm. Ok, I'm no help. If you own a 944, you should have the 19mm and 24mm anyway.

I was going to reply to this before but honestly i could not remember. Andy is right though that its either a 24, 22 or 19mm . I have a feeling its 24mm..i think i remember 22mm because that is the wrench you need for the oil pressure sender..and thats right next to the OPRV.

What happened to the reply someone left earlier saying this was a "useless" post?? I guess they deleted it.

Yeah, I knew it would be big...something in the 20's as the 19 didn't come close. 24 sounds right. I should really just buy some more sockets to fill out the set. Thanks, guys.
