Default Sold - complete 968 Engine - won Mid-Atlantic Supercup Championship

Selling my 968 SP3/944 Supercup championship winning engine as I'm moving to SP2 for next year. Asking $4k

This will bolt into any 944 or 968 chassis with minimal effort. Fanstastic street engine as well.

Extremely powerful motor - fully PCA legal. 4 wins and 6 podiums in 8 races

- Fresh engine (never been tracked - April, 2006) from a 1993 car (Serial # M44/43 42P0308
- cold leakdown numbers: 4%, 5% 7% 5%
- Cylinder walls look great with the borescope
- Fresh professionally installed rod bearings - journals showed no wear (April 2006)
- New OEM waterpump (April, 2006 - $499 new)
- Timing and balance shaft belts (April, 2006)
- new rollers/tensioners (April 2006)
- S2 Flywheel included - which is now legal for PCA - loses approx 8 lbs vs. 968 dual mass flywheel
- 12 track days and approx 500 street miles since April
- Rebuilt injectors - Feb 2006
- All reference sensors, airflow meter etc, included
- Wiring harness
- DME
- Will throw in 2 chips - Promax and one other that I've forgotten.
- OEM Intake and exhaust headers

Does not include alternator bracket, alternator, PS pump or oil cooler

If he gets that engine for $2k shipped i will probably cry. Then offer $2000 and ILL pay shipping.

Matt, im not to familiar with the class rules.. but are you going back to a stock 2.5L engine? I dont think i could ever drop 100hp off my car like that!

matts going to drop into regular 944 cup (from super cup). Which sucks for me as I'll have another veteran driver ahead of me

Then list an asking price. What makes you think the $2100 offer is not serious. I bet the buyer will seriously pay the $2100 for the engine.
