Asking price is listed as $4K. Considering that, it is hard to consider a $2100 offer for a complete engine serious.

Yep, 2100 is not realistic IMHO.

Jesus H. Christ people. . .

It was tongue-in-cheek.

But yes, if he wanted to accept my $2,100 offer (which I KNOW is low) I'd gladly pay it for that.

I knew that. hence the .

Are you hungry? Want some ? Plenty to go round. Tastes pretty good if you put just a pinch between the tongue and cheek.... all night long.

The thought of selling the motor in my 951 and dropping this 968 motor in has crossed my mind.

I don't think the replies were about you, sorry if you think that it is all about you. It was about the original lowball offer and then the chime-in regarding alleged lack of asking-price. I don't think anyone here is humor-retarded.

A little OT - Tom, why would you want to replace your 951 engine with a 968 engine, when a stock 951 engine produces more torque and has legendary potential?

Then why was I the one that was quoted, Mr. Powers-of-observation?

Go work on that "reading comprehension" thang and then check back later, k?

If only everyone was as smart as us...

A quick bump for a great deal! If I didn't already have one, $4k is a superb deal for such an engine.

Andy, you know you want one... swap out that 951 engine man!

Looks like a very solid and complete engine that's priced competitively. Naturally the upcoming holiday has me tapped...I'm beginning to understand Ebenezer Scrooge as he was probably a Porsche owner who missed out on great deal after deal...
