Default 944S Zeitronix Wideband Install

I finished this some time ago, but never got around to sharing the info with everyone else. I'm sure not many people will buy a Zeitronix WB for an n/a car, but if they were they may no have the info to wire it up. So this thread is for you.

The main reason I got this was to datalog the changes that get made to my car every time I bolt on a new mod. So I could have it properly tuned at all times. Especially for the upcoming MAF conversion. But, it is also being used to perfect the 944SMAX chip AND 944SMAX MAF chip.

**NOTE - The following wiring instructions are for the '87-'88 944S models**

DME Pin
Zeitronix Harness
37
1 - RED
6
3 - GREEN
14
7 - BLACK
28
9 - PURPLE

It is a WB O2 sensor. It measures your Air/Fuel ratios

FWIW, you are a great spokesman for N/A 16 Ventiler. Very impressive!

I just installed the vacuum/boost sensor portion of zeitronix. I must say it was the EASIEST install EVER! It took only 15 minutes. 3 wires to solder together, "T" into a vacuum line, and run the vacuum line through the firewall. I'll have some pics tomorrow.

This install was MUCH easier than the autometer gauge i had in my 951.

Next up will be the EGT sensor install, once I get my new performance headers.

Do you mind if I repackage the data and host it on my website under tutorials?
