Don't let my number of post fool you guys, I've been scratching my head figuring out my 86' 951 for the last year now (peanuts compared to the time some of you guys have in your cars though ). I just haven't had much chance to get online and post. I had a heck of a time figuring out all the wiring the PO had on this thing with an S-AFC and then I put on a PLX R-500 to help tune with and that was a whole other wiring hassle. I wasn't ever able to find all this info in this format in one spot so now that I have pretty regular access to a computer I thought I would make a some diagrams that would have helped me out a lot and hopefully saves some of you guys from a headache or two. You'll recognize the pinout diagrams, I just labeled the wire colors, size on some, and what larger wire they might ajoin to on others. As a disclaimer to this though remember to always test the wire first cause who knows how many different wiring types or colors Porsche might have used. I have a whole series of pics of the DME and KLR plugs taken apart with all this wiring also if anybody ever really needs those just let me know. Enjoy!

83 n/a looking for dme schematic and/or functional info,
also dme wiring harness pin out , like the turbo one shown previously.
finally, I have 2 dme with 2 different part numbers, can some one provide a cross reference for what works ion what ?
