Default 2.7L NA tester needed... - call answered, thank you.

I thought I had a 2.7L tester, sent out a chip, never heard from him again. So I still need people for this, it would also help to get another 2.5L NA tester as well as I only have one at the moment.

Any takers?

Regards,
Russell

Thanks guys!

Roger, I have your address, I'll send one right out Monday.

Nelson, PM me your shipping address and I'll respond with instructions.

Basically testers provide me with as much data as they can about how the car runs. Data logs, dynos if you have access to one, but more important is the butt-dyno and the overall performance of the car. I squeeze as much area under the curve as possible. Tester feedback is MOST important because the dyno doesn't tell us what's going on in the part throttle maps, and that's where you spend most of your time. So first we address drivability, get the smoothest power transitions and response, then move on to make the most overall power in the WOT areas. That's how it all works.

Thanks again!

Regards,
Russell

Also, all three of you, if you haven't already please sign up on my product/support forum at http://forums.maxhpkit.com

Our community is growing fast!

EDIT:
So I don't have to PM you all this, for those going to a dyno we do back to back runs with the stock chip against the version you're testing, this gives me the WOT tuning data I need in conjunction with your other input. When dyno runs are done I want HP/TQ/AFR/RPM, and the run done across as much range as possible as I extract the most power from the bottom to the top.

Regards,
Russell

Hey Tom,

I'm about 20 miles SW of Albany in the Catskill Mtn area, no dynos local to me that I'm aware of. I know there are some North of here. Do you have a dyno local to you?

Russell

I used to live in the Albany area. I know there is a shop there with a dyno. I had a Supra I had dynod there once. Can't remember the name but they are north of the mall before you get to Clifton Park.

i won three dyno pulls at farnbacher loles racing today. they are in danbury.

was going to donate it to the NA for the sake of others, but am also very curious to see if the 300hp+ the wrench that did the work on my 951 for the PO is true. is it true, is it true...?
