if the speed is questionable for what the driver can handle, its too fast for public streetes. Even if I can handle far greater speeds then posted limit, it is my responsibility to others to avoid that situation, just like it is my responsibility to avoid sending you a package of anthrax, even if it is labeled, and you are a professional with anthrax.
It makes a mistake far easier to make, and someone else may not know how to react to such aggressive driving.
OK, so we have a bullet proof 7 series that accidentally hit the button on the jagged metal pieces. Since that happens all the time, we'll go with it. driving the speed limit allows room and time to correct. Even if you did get a flat, the car will probably remain controllable, and if not, it would probably be slow enough to give other drivers time to react. EVEN if all those situations don't happen, and an accident IS caused by such an occurance. 35mph does FAR less damage then , say 60.

big difference there.

Yes, there is a HUGE difference. You should never be with 50% of what you think you can handle on the street.

Public road =! race course. You shouldn't be passing and trail-breaking at the limit on public roads ever.

okay fine, scratch the beer bottle, lets say a box of jagged metal pieces like in those spy movies.
oh really. public streets are just that, for the public, not some ******** to test his/her/vehicle limits and it's apparent you can't see the difference between your two references.

bottom line, "know when to hold or fold".

You told Eyal to hand over the keys to his Porsche and to get an automatic Corolla because he doesn't want to drive like an *******.

sounds like you're saying that if you don't drive like an ***, you shouldn't drive a Porsche.

so now driving fast and passing people in the opposite lane on a one lane road is "driving like an ***"

then i guess i drive like an *** every day in the morning when an 18wheeler doing 10 below the speed limit going up a hill spilling gravel on my car and i go to pass him in the opposite lane.

yea, I've presented all I need to present. I don't think anybody here is going to present a credible counter argument. Just give up.

you should never pass on public roads??!!! wtf

and my trail braking tid-bit was purely academical, i did not mean for it to enter into this discussion... if you could call it that.

i stop posting when you stop posting.

so far everyones argument has been beyond cliche' ,

if you dont feel like proving anything to me anymore you really dont have to, i'm doing this more for amusement than anything

its funny to see the exact same arguments and comments being thrown at you

and these sort of discussions end the same way every time,

this one no different.
