I would do a couple wraps of duct tape. If you get partial boost then you are chasing the right problem.
I'd imagine that the hole would have to be close to the size of a dime before you would get no boost, but I could see very little boost with maybe a 1/8" hole.

There should be no holes in either intercooler pipe, they are supposed to hold pressure
As for the vacuum line, it is pretty common for the original vacuum lines to be on the edge of faling apart after 20 years. Many people replace the whole set.

THIS PROBLEM IS FIXED!!!

It turns out as well that the rubber pipe from the turbo to leaking hardpipe had a HUGE rip on the bottom (about 1.5 inches)...

I confirmed it by reducing the rubber pipe..

I ordered the part from paragon and i should be boosting pretty soon!!!

THANKS A BUNCH GUYS...

I REALLY MEAN IT ... YOU GUYS ARE A GREAT HELP

UH OH!!!!

The problem IS NOT FIXED

So I got the hose installed and everything WAS AWESOME...

I gave it a test drive...

on the way home... i went over some railroad tracks and then the car stopped "pulling"...

It's not leaking any boost...i don't hear anything...

There is definetly no pull on 1 + 2.... on ther 3,4,5 you a get a a little...

the boost gauge reads fine....

WHAT NOW GUYS???

went over some tracks... go check all of your intercooler plumbing. sounds to me like a hose clamp wasn't tightened, and the hose popped off... if the leak is big enough, I don't beleive it'll hiss at you.

are you saying the boost gauge says you're boosting, but you're not? if that's the case, it might be a little more difficult... maybe a vacuum leak somewhere?

Get a screw driver and start tightening the clamps all over the engine and I mean everywhere that you see/reach. If you hit the tacks pretty hard I guess you could have screwed up the AFM but I doubt it. Might want to check it though.

Oh yeah, did you replace that intercooler pipe with the whole yet?

uh oh!!!!!

it could be a major vacum leak....

uhhhh....

when i put on the new ripped hose i accidently disconnected a vacum line...

I didn't know where to connect it b/c i didnt' know where it came from...

so i just completely took it off...

there is a vacum line on top the manifold that connects to a Y connector that one is in tact...

the one that i accidently connected goes UNDERNEATH the manifold....

could this be the culprit????

FYI

like i said it worked fine for a couple of minutes (even w/o that line)

Thanks guys

That'd do it. the vacuum line doesn't go to the bajo bolt, does it? if it does, that's DEFINATELY a problem...
