Default 968, do golf clubs fit

I pick the 968 up on Saturday, I'm sure someone can tell me if golf clubs fit or not in the trunk?

In all seriousness, with the rear seats folded down you can probably fit three sets of golf clubs back there.

I have seen goalie hockey bags (size of a fat man's coffin) fit in the hatch of a 968.

There's more room in there than you think!

Golf bags will fit easily. I can get 3 in the back of my 944

Coupe or Cab? You might have some problems with getting a full set in the cabriolet's trunk. But if you have canadian/euro rear seats, you might be able to fit them in the rear seat.

If its a coupe, you can fit not only golf clubs, but the corresponding golfers in there too!

Laying in my trunk to fix my sunroof gear was actually fun and comfortable!

Furniture, mulch, TV's, drum kits... you should see the things hauled in 944/951/968's. There was a thread once, with pictures. It was kinda ridiculous.

Yup, golf clubs are no problem.

Since your car is a cab, I doubt it.

I never got the golf club thing. I mean, you have a Porsche. Go drive it through a few tanks at 80+ mph until the tires melt off. Golf clubs are for the SUV. But maybe I'm missing something.

To answer the question: I've fit 4 wheels (with tires) in the trunk. When I moved to Riverside, the 968 carried all of my personal belongings, except furniture and large hardware (tvs, comp). So basically my whole life fit inside the 968. Golf clubs should be a piece of cake!

Sorry to all for not stating it is a Cabriolet, so the trunk is much different than the hatchback. As for the golf club thing, yes they can go in the Cayenne, but it is much more fun to travel in a convertible!

A tournament bag would be tough, but you you do have the little rear shelf behind the seats. I can fit my regular bag in either.

I think this post requires the pic of the "beers in the hatch" and the "drumkit" to really make it meaningful. Does anyone have those laying around, or should i dig them up?
