Bought my 951 at 27. That got toasted and I bought a 928 S4 as replacement last summer. Then I thought, the more the merrier and bought a 924S to accompany the 928 so it wouldn't be so lonely. Now I'm frighteningly near 30 and I'm thinking about getting an aircooled too to my stable before the big 3 hits me.

your girl? did i miss something?
im 27 and on my ....have had a 924, three 944's and a 914. And i could have had a 911 if i wanted one- believe me- its not always about moving to the more expensive car- sometimes its about the better car.

Purchased my 944 from my grandfather two years ago before my 20th birthday. He had taught me to drive it when I got my permit at 14. Now I'm 21 and love the car with no intentions of ever selling it due to sentimental family value.
I do have a big itch for boost in Maraschino Red for when I'm done with school though.

The 944 was "for the kids" but due to missed performance metrics it is now my commuter car.

I can't believe all these 20 something guys complaining about being old! I wouldn't go back for all the tea in China. Take care of yourself and your 30s will be like your 20s only with money!
My plans for 40+... Living debt free and driving fast cars!!!

I'm 25, but drove the 944 since I was 16 and still love it and can't get rid of it.... ever.
I got my DD Jetta TDI when I graduated college with the intention of fixing up the Porsche, but just got around to catching up in maintenance so far. Now, I got the 49 Chevy this year, so I'm spending a little on that, but everything is cheap for that car luckily!

Got hooked on porsches when I was 7 or 8 and I started to realize how much more bad *** the "red car" (moms 86 n/a) was then the "white car" (fmr. dads 65 Skylark GS Convert.)
Bought a whole crapload of crappy cars moving up each time (83 280zx, skip a few , 87,89 Conquest TSI (trying to get a "944 turbo" on a budget) smarted up.. at 16 picked up my 85 N/A at which I completley rebuilt, then picked up a perfect red 84 n/a with a snapped t-belt. fixed it (and it looks even better now), sold my 85 to my best friend, and just bought an 87 951 with lots of mods (including the blown engine) and I know I will have a Porsche of some sort till the day I die
btw: 18 here and been here for a loong time...
