Hey, did anyone ask if you could make some aluminum (or other metal) end caps for the rear shade screens/trunk covers? Those things would sell like hotcakes, especially if you threw in some bolts and nuts for us people to lazy to go buy some.

Yes, and for the track users, a set of sunroof brackets that screw into both the roof and the body, as required by most racing rules to keep the roof from taking flight.

I'd gladly sponsor you to make the first set for my 87.

I might be interested in the sunroof brackets mentioned above if I don't make my own.

You can always buy an early car with a manual sunroof and solve that problem. I think that rule is a joke; maybe Rock has lost a part or two but again that's Rock! And besides he always managed to be the 1st one to run over the part

BTW JerryW: I made up a list of the work done to Ol' Pokey since 2003 and PM'ed you before I never see it again after Sunday

I have one... I've already converted the late car to manual sunroof and my original power parts went off to a 'lister in Colorado... but I believe the NASA rules don't consider manual latches enough... frankly not sure if I do either.

I figure you would only need to make a piece in front that screws into all the factory holes and you'd be fine. Better safe than having the freaking sailroof fly off at speed.

A coolant bleeder bolt with a nose nipple. Tee hee I said nipple.

Either original size, or larger thread OD. Currently im using a banjo bolt to make the coolant bleeding less stupid.

Would you be able to machine a lightweight or equal weight crank pulley with a 36-1 tooth wheel built into it? I'm talking for the 2.0l engines though.

Id buy a set. I was planning on removing the rest of the sunroof parts this winter and this would be a lot better than me trying to make them.
