The Zinc is a silver colour
The Zinc Dychromate is more of a yellow colour
Stainless will not rust and come out clean after cracking
Be carefull of hardness rating , a higher rating is well , harder, but as you increase in hardness numbers the bolts can become more brittle and snap off...

just stuff to consider...

So are you telling me that the SS hardware I used to mount my waterpump is a ? Egads... the thought of undoing all the work I just finished.... at least I used factory bolts on the cam housing.
