Default Is there such thing as a Silver Rose 88 NON-turboS?

Did the regular 88 951 have the choice of the silver rose colour? or did that only come with turboS?

If a car is coded for Silver Rose paint, but no M030 on option code, is this a regular turbo? Im confused.

Thanks!

if there is no M030 look for option I think 571... the turbo S option... or "1988 special model 944 turbo"

Lemme just verify that code on mine...

wow. I was way off... Option 758 is the Turbo S. look for that... it has M030 and others... but silver rose was just a turbo S color.

I thought Silver Rose was definitely turboS only colour too. Im sure the car im looking at is original Silver Rose paint as I checked the inside trunk and engine bay, which is Silver Rose. Unless one of the previous owners went to great lengths to repaint the car, which I highly doubt.

I agreed the Silver Rose paint code and I see LSD 220. Just didn't see M030 (unless that part rubbed off) on the options sticker in the trunk. The car physically does have M030 suspension, unless it is someother aftermarket suspension. It has the sway bars too. Definitely puzzled me today.

Anyways, I will look for code 758 at the PPI. Thanks.

88 951s cars often lack many of the option codes on the trunk sticker. As long as it has the 758 option code it should have everything else. The rolled fenders and reinforced body are easy to spot.

Makes sense. Who would buy a pink car otherwise?
