The early offset phone dial wheels are 15x7 23.3mm offset and the late offset phone dials are 15x7 52.3mm offset.
In order to put a late offset wheel on an early model 944, you have to use a spacer. You can use a early offset wheel on a late model 944 and it fits right out to the edge of the fenders without sticking out on the front and almost right out to the edge on the rears.
