OK friend backed out for picking up my 951 tommorow. Bull**** .. .he could have given me more notice ![banghead](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/banghead.gif)
NOW, I don't have a vehicle with a hitch (he was the only friend I knew with a truck) and I have to get the car tommorow. Does anyone know of ANYWHERE I can rent a truck + dolly from a rental place?? Uhaul told me they don't do that...
I have a budget of $200 (Was planning on just renting a f'ing dolly for $30 and paying maybe $100 in gas/food/tolls) ..
Anyone have ANY ideas?? Bout a 6 hour round trip..

BTDT...Call Enterprise, they have full size trucks for around $50 a day with unlimited miles. Total with insurance will run you around $68-$73 or so I forget exactly. Take that to Uhaul and get a trailer/dolly.
Make sure you request a full size truck (I would usually get a Silverado or the like) but you might have to call around. DO NOT tell them you are towing a car hauler with it but make sure it has a Reese type hitch.
FWIW I have a full size work truck that I could use but for $50 it is worth every penny to be putting the punishment on the rental. Just don't mess anything up while towing, and be sure to get the extra insurance.

Uhaul will rent you a box truck with a dolly, tell them you are moving and need to tow a car, a Ford Escort. Be prepared for the extra costs per mile though. Get the $19.99 special.
