Beautiful car. Looks like you have a nice area for driving, too.

Congrats on the new aquisition, I love the red ones...

It's normal for the fan to keep running for a little while when you stop the motor. It will run until it cools down enough, can't remember the temperature.

The light on the door locks is for the central locking system. When they are flashing it means the alarm system is armed.

My door locks are screwy and there is a red light lighting up on the button...?

The interior is all black, its a combination of camera flash and heavy dust that makes it look that way.

Gorgeous car Keith, I love everything but the phone dials (prepares for the onslaught)... When I'm back home from school maybe I could help with the hood issue, my S2 had the same problem and it was an easy fix.

Oh man, that Napa High sticker brings back memories. Hope we're still kickin' Vintages a$$.

Nice looking car Keith! Plus, it looks like you must have some great driving roads in your area...

yeah we have some nice roads...twisties and scenery wise but the road quality is i think the second worst in the bay area, there is a pothole almost every 20 feet.

OK so I just that is the ciggy lighter but I'm never going to use it . It heats up but I cant get that damned thing out.

As for my light problem...I replaced fuses/bulbs and cleaned grounds and the parking and tail light on the passenger side still wont work. The turn signals work though. I guess its time to follow the wires.

My car never seems to heat pass the 1/4 min. bar, normal or not?

The locks will lock manually and unlock electronically. The switch itself is what is lighting up.

I reglued my headliner last night...good way to use up a few of the thousands of paper clips I have.

Nice to hear you sold your 944.

As far as the headliner, I definetly need to do that myself for the 944. I tried glueing it while the headliner was still installed, but it has been slowly coming off since. Too bad I don't have any paper clips to spare.

I only read the first few posts because I'm falling asleep, but here's my post anyways.

CONGRATS! Your new car is beautiful, I'm glad you were able to replace your last beauty with something comparable and much cooler. I had the same issues trying to figure out the late interior when I first went from 944 to 968. The late interior is WAAAY better than the early one. The early interior has some advantages, but the bottom line is clear. I had a good muffler from a 951, since last September, but I just gave it to a friend last month, sorry! Time for a SFR system dude.

Don't push the odo reset while the car is moving. The odo reset button is hidden

And if you decide to ditch that rear deflector, just search for one of the 47 recent threads about it. Seems like October was the month for reflector deletes. Before you delete it though, look at it at night. It's nasty during the day (especially on a red car) but I think it's cool at night. To each their own. Again, SWEET CAR!
