Rodents suck....I shoot 5 chipmunks a day ... they must reproduce at a greater rate than that. the friging things are everywhere.

Ive used mothballs in small cups on the floor around the outside of the car, and in the engine compartment; and bounce dryer sheets inside the passenger compartment. Plug the tail pipe and the intake snorkel.

i have a car cover i got with my car- i think that is part of the problem- i just put a big spot light over my car and dont cover it- sure i have to wash it in the spring but no rodents in it!

if you want the cover though, i can box it and ship it to you for less than a cheapy cover...

I got one at Big Lots for around $30. it seems to be pretty soft and such, so i decided to try it out for the winter. A friend told me they had zymol there also...

ok so is it better to cover the car or not? ill have to get a sh*tload of steelwool next time i leave the dungeon. speaking of rodents, ive been on patrol around my house for like the last three hours, shooting at squirrells<- watev. The sneaky bastards. i wouldve got about three, but the cheap pos air pistol i got dont shoot straight.

xs- is it one of those factory "porsche" covers? How much? oh and did ya ever get rid of Rocks black sunroof bag?

Not cover. Some recommend keeping hood open all together. It is the coziness they crave (damn varments!).

I put a couple of moth ***** in the car in the corners to keep it dry inside, then I cover the car with old sheets I have, sprinkle those pellets in the corners and against the walls where they COULD get in then I put some under the car as well. I didn't have a problem last year at all either. I am not sure but I think I did something else as well, but can't think of what it was... For the tailpipe I used newpaper and taped it to it so nothing could get in. This winter though I will be doing quite a bit of work starting Jan/Feb (all depends on new job I hopefully will get) and I will be out in the garage at least every couple days to scary them away anyways.

Yes, use the dryer sheets, they really do work. Bounce is as good as any.
