Default Sold!

I am having Avon Tech 550 AS tires mounted and balanced today, replacing my Dunlop SP 5000 Asym. with 13k miles on them (the Avons are rated better for winter driving). Tons of tread left, great for Auto-X I bet! Stock sizes: 205-55-16 / 225-50-16

$150 for the set (paid close to $500 myself).

Just FYI, shipping tires isn't too tough. Just lash two of them together and then stick the shipping label on the tread, just like Tire Rack does. If they can withstand being driven through potholes, etc. with 3000 lbs of car on them them then a little bit of jostling around by UPS is a cake walk by comparison.

Good luck with the sale, sounds like a good deal for someone.

I'll have pix of the tread probably tomorrow sometime...stay tuned!

They really are a good deal Simon...unless you want uber-stickey summer tires!
