Default Wheel spacers question

Hey guys - I got new 18" wheels for my '86 944 turbo, I tryed them on - looks great. but I do need spacers. Front wheels are 8X18 and rear 10X18. I already have a pair of 1" and pair of 2" spacers. The question is : will it be fine to put different spacers on front and rear (1" vs 2"), will it effect anyway my driving?
Thanks

I have different size spacers on the front and rear of my 86 951. Even the factory has different front and rear spacer sizes. Now, making sure you put the correct size on is important - but not matching front and rear.

Spacer Link

That's the spacer i'm running in the rear until i'm ready for the custom wheels. Ignore the little one on there, just the big 3" is all i'm running in the rear and its not bad for a street car, (2" on the front). I haven't noticed any adverse handling because of them, just have a much wider track now. Wouldn't suggest for track though as the stress on the bolts holding them on would be considerable. They're the type that bolt onto the hub, then the wheel bolts to the spacer.

nope- just put the wheels in the right spot- if you had huge spacers it could be bad on the bearings but 1-2" is nothing- enjoy!
