Default I just put a few things on Ebay

I just put some 924S/944 parts on ebay last night. Just in case anyone is interested. I don't have the car, and I am moving, so the prices are cheap!
Weltmeister chip
Throttle response cam
Mirror bras
Door edge guards
Rear bumper end caps
All are under my ebay name, macleod 911.

Just wanted my fellow rennlisters to know.
Thanks,
Todd

Also, I have about 15 or 20 issues of the PCA monthly magazine, Porsche Panorama, all from 2004, 05 and 06. Free to anyone here in Las Vegas that wants to come and get them. I will not ship them. Let me know.

Sorry if this is noobish, but when it comes to chips in cars instead of desktops, im electronically retarted. Does the chip come with installation instructions? By this I mean does the car's cpu need to be flashed after install or anything? Or do you just slide the chip in and down the road you go?

The chip is easy to put in, you just need to take the precaution of making sure you are grounded (IE, no static electricity).

Its relativley easy to do.. just a bit of a pain in the *** to pry the tabs of the DME cover up so you can take the cover off.

This has to be the most annoying part of workign on this car. After timing belt, waterpump, vacuum hose rerouting, start replacement, clutch job, master and slave cylinder replacement....I still think the most annoying thing is the stupid tabs on the DME and KLR covers....MY GOD!! I have never IN MY LIFE dealt with somthing so small and simple that took a friggin hour to do. My arms were tired and sore. Just a pain in the ***....

over exaggerated, I know...shut up

Major PITA! What a POS that box is. The early DME came in a piece of jewelry. Too bad the innards are so sluggish. I have swapped mine for a late. So, pease forgive, in advance then, my silly, unnecessary question: Has anyone ever transplanted the guts from a later DME to an earlier one? Would it fit? Would cutting and soldering be involved? Sorry for the semi-jack. TIA

Michael
