Default mitsu 2 piece d/s t/t?

i had read somewhere when i first got the 44 that in the early 44's the tourqe tube/driveshaft, was a pos, and they had used a 2 piece d/s from a mitsubishi. so is this true?

where did you hear that? - same tt from 1977- 1991 from what i know- i DO know the 968 had a collapsable tt to get to the clutch easier. wish i could throw one of those in my car....

i dont know, i was bopping around different websites for awhile and read that, it also stated that the 924 ended in 86, and that the 944 had a REAR mounted engine, if i find that website ill definitly post it up.

interesting maybe there is someway to adapt a 968 tt to a 951 bellhousing
