I have no problems hitting the Clark's garage website. Paragon sells the factory AC delete bracket, while others like Imagine Auto carry a billet aluminum piece. Generally it runs in the neighborhood of $150.

Essentially you remove the compressor, condensor, and evaporator, then use the bracket to lower the alternator.

Like so:

Has ac delete brackets. Have some patience to remove the top right bolt behind the turbo if the turbo is still in place. It is possible after you remove the alternater and intercooler tubes and use a box wrench. It goes back together five times as fast. Enjoy.

I think PorscheDoc here on Rennlist had some units left, $100 includes belt, hardware and shipping IIRC. Give him a PM.

I plan on popping some more out, but I currently have my CNC so backed up with 911 valve covers, it will probably be 2-4 weeks before I see any more.

Mine is not a turbo,Are there any issues with the alt shroud or cooling hose for alt? This is a street car,not track ,it is driven daily.I was wondering about heat issues and rain/waterprofing if its mounted lower.

I have had an AC delete bracket on my car for 3 years, with no shields or ducts in place whatsoever. It is my daily, and gets driven in rain, snow, sleet, sunshine...

the early 944's did not even come with shrouds or cooling ducts for the alternator.

I have driven my 944 spec (no ac) car in a driving rain almost to the point of deep standing water. Never a problem.

Really? I purchased it from Dave Derecola, and it's the best looking one I've seen to date, so nice job!

Also cool to see you are in New Baltimore, I grew up and went to school in Harrison Twp on the other side of Anchor Bay!

Thank you! I made about a dozen or so with my buddy Larry. I think special tool bought two..... because he's a weirdo.

Made a solid trans mount too.... but didn't like the way it came out.

yeap. I'm in NB! It's a nice area in the summer. It's fun to run to the beach and back.... even if the beach is only 19 feet long. I grew up here.
