Default 944 S2 upgades?

Who makes anything that is a reliable upgrade forthe internals of the engine? I have the motor out right now and while its out i want to see what I can do inside of it. (I belive I spun a Bearing because a loud knocking sound started occuring) So I was sondering if there were any Cam upgrades or Pistons or anything internal they make because I want to do them while its out. So anyone know who makes anything?

Archive search. You have the wrong car to put mods into. 951 all the way if you like upgrades.

That said, Jon Milledge Engineering may have a set of cams for a 16-valve car. They do a lot of 8v work.

If you do anything to the inside of the engine I would install piston oil squirters. Every S2 I have taken apart has had bad cylinder walls, and hot pistons and not enough oil certainly had to do with it. Porsche installed them in the 968 (basically same motor making a little more power) for a reason!

put a lindsey racing oil pan baffle in there- you can install a crank scraper, and some milledge cams. Could always conver to MAF, get a better exhaust, port and polish, header, lightened flywheel, shave some weight off the crank, crossdrill the crank...im sure you can do a thing or two. Turbo is not the only way to go.

Lots of things you can do, but for the $$$ you will get peanuts in power return.

Soooo much easier to get big power out of a forced induction car!
