Exclamation Italian Carfest with a spot of German not so 56k

Here are some picts from a recent Italian car fest and since this is a Porsche® forum I had to throw in some Germans

Here is what happens when you let Norwood play with your Testarossa.(no this is not mine

And just to show you don't have to have class to own a sportscar...or be able to spell when the name is right in front of you...(not the car above!)

Here is what the ferrari team uses in the pits.

A nice 365 vid(3meg quicktime mov)

A little something for the track guys.

And how do you protect a really expensive supercar...with tape of course....lots of tape!

As you can see the Porsche® guys can take it...no stinkin tape!

Now for something very very rare!

Last but not least some Porsche®

Where are you? I always miss the ItalianFest because it's usually on the same weekend as my DEs.

It is always the same time as Grapefest. Grapevine.
The track shots are Motorsport ranch, last year I think.
The P-club DE's were last weekend I think.

I used to know the stats on the norwood twin-TR but can't find them.
You might check norwoods website out.

I didn't realize you were in the DFW area. I was at MSR last weekend, trying out the 944 for the first time on track. Seeing the empty track makes me want to run some more laps!

I don't know of the power output but heard a story once of a viper tuning shop i think where a norwood customer brought his turbo'd ferrari in ripped off a nearly 1000 hp pass with a perfect air-fuel ratio don't know if it's true don't remember where i heard it. but if it is true i don't even want to know that's just a silly amount of power

He has made a few Ferraris with over 1000hp. Car&Driver did an article on some of his cars a few years back.http://www.bobnorwood.com/Norwood%20...hives/CD-1.htm

He also made some killer 911 and 968 based engines. There's a little blurb about it at the bottom of this page

Yeah, I had tons more from last year and this, but figured I would try and keep it somewhere near the German border
That and I don't want to post a ton of picts.....

There was a 350z club that showed up as I was leaving, but they were already trailering Lambo's home.

I know there are some Ducati fans on here, but I just could not bring myself to post bike picts on this forum...just too far outside scope

I just looked at the Noorwood articles and although he's a legend and everything... seriously, over 1100 bhp and a 0-130 mph time of 12,x sec?? 711 bhp F50 0-60 in 3,7 and 0-130 in 12.4?? Get real, reduce 30-50% of those HP-numbers and you get those times.
