Default Sunroof Peeling

Hey. I checked the archives for a thread I thought I remembered from awhile back about somone who had a crappy looking sunroof panel and it turned out to be peeling clear coat or something and they fixed it really easily. My sunroof clear coat seems to be peeling as well, but the color underneath is good. Any suggestions? Anyone know what post I am referring to? Thanks
Chris

I just took these. my sunroof has seriously cracked all over the place. the sun has really messed it up, even to the point where a piece was able to break off. its like the paint was painted on a layer of plastic and then fiberglass underneath? any sudgestions or is it better to look to buy a new used black one online? sorry to hijack but its similar to your problem.

my suggesstion would be to have someone respray just the removable part. it'd prolly be cheaper than getting the whole new part...

p.s....chat?....

I believe the sunroofs are fiberglass.
