hello all
yes, the dreaded IMG is leaking at the front cylinder. not bad,but enough to make the idle wonky. my question; how much of a PITA is the gaskets to replace?
also, go to Porsche ? or is aftermarket okay too?
thanks
Robin

Not terribly hard to do. Just requires removal of the air box assembly and the fuel rail. Just get the OEM Porsche gaskets.. they arent that expensive.. i think less than $5 each. You may consider addressing the vacuum lines / hoses under the intake while you have it off.. as well as replacing the air oil seperator o-rings while your at it. All of which are not really accessable unless the intake is off.

you can order the victor reinz (factory supplier ) gaskets from a carquest I think they're 1.49 each last set I ordered. Also when in a pinch, small block chevy thermostat gaskets work exactly the same!
