Should I pick up another 944
That was running and driving with a 350 swap (motor and trans removed) for ~$500. I don't know the condition at all...its about an hours drive from me but I am considering taking a look.... I think 4 944s, my moms car, my passat, my brothers accord, my motorcycle, and my sisters accord make a crowded driveway
I think if the motor was just removed and everything else was left in place, it shoulld be pretty straightforward to stick another 350 in there....If I pass it up, anyone else interested?

Ouch. Salt on the wound of a hot topic sharky.
Mike,
If all you have to do is plop a 350 in there, do it. They're cheap & you could have a ton of fun with it. Maybe even flip it to a new owner when its done for a profit.

You can't have enough!
Just keep buying 944s until the goverment tells you to stop. It is easy to collect 944s, but close to impossible to sell them at a decent price.

Ohhhh it has a "turbo hood"
931 hood w/ NACA duct??? Can't wait to check it out. And yes it was running and driving before the 350 was pulled out.
Mom says I have to get rid of at least one (preferably 2) cars in order to bring this home. Anyone want a nice, ALL maint. done early 944? Silver/linen...
a 5.7L 944 sounds freakin AWESOME. Makes me want to lift the 350 I'm building for a drag vette at the shop...

i may be new to this kind of community but... are you talking about dumping a ''chevy'' 350 in there?? a V8 from an other manufacturer???
i suppose it has already been done, but how hard can it be?
