Even though mine looked like hell, all I had to do was put a new dizzy cap/rotor on it (old one got crushed by the hood) and she fired right up! The AC even worked!

Looks like a saver and a very nice car once it is fixed.

I found almost perfect $300 seats within driving range on eBay.

A Coverlay plastic dash cap is <$100.

A new carpet kit runs about $250-270.

Decide what you want the most. I'd go seats first...

Chris, I know!
Well I got the battery tested....dead. no problem, I took mine out of the 86 and put it in the car. fired up right away. all gears work fine. I found a vaccum leak and fixed that now the engine sounds great and idles smooth.
I put my pressure tester on the coolant system and it holds pressure fine. All the lights work fine (minus the headlights smart guy) here is what is bent up.

The car is on jackstands now because I am checking the source of sloppy shifting. I am guessing the shift linkage is loose above the transmission. This car has made me really happy. no rust on it or bad paint!

The car doesn't look bad at all. Should be a very easy fix.
