Talking Late exposure for a Fest sponsor, and some project pics.

I finally got some time to clean up my car, and I installed an upgrade from one of my 944Fest sponsors. Jager Engineering makes interior kits for our cars, along with some other slick bits. http://www.jageng.com/auto_1.htm We gave out some lighting kits and underhood lettering from them with our door prizes.

I had some reservations about mixing in some chrome with our black out dashes, but i'm very pleased with the outcome. The flash pics don't do the chrome rings justice in the dark shots. I also added their LED light kit, in blue.

I was hoping to have some of this dash stuff in to show off for the event but time restrictions did not allow it. Check out the new dash lighting and chrome rings. Check out their website for similar, fairly priced items!

Would the LEDs be bright enough to correct the 'corroded reflector' on the back of the gauges?

You'll need to clarify this question. The gauges are now and were before 'front lit'. The light kit replaces the three triangular light reflector boxes that are under the gauge cluster. I'm not sure what you are referring to on the back of the gauges.

That's what I mean... I've not had my cluster apart to know where everything is- just that it's DIM.

Yes, then, this kit will fix the dim issue.

Dan, email me the two source images you used for this and I'll play with them. I can get you the effect you were looking for...

Looks more like a quantum singularity positioned directly over your hood
