Default It Official New to the 951 world

Just picked up my guards red 951 with 16" fuchs drove her back from Minnesota for the past 8.5 hours. Took longer because of the rain ad the wipers sucked so I had to go slow. It got so bad I couldnt see anything in front of me. That was scary, but I finally made it home. on with me assesments.

Likes: its a Turbo, Engine is strong, Power Steering, low miles 114k, Fuchs, maintenance records, price paid. I also got great gas mileage. Made it from Minnesota to chicago on 3/4 of a tank.

Dislikes: needs brakes, No seat belts, recaro seats, wheel well space, momo steering wheel, no horn, howling sound from the rear, interior needs minor work. Most of the quirks it has can be resolved with my new 944 parts car. She requires some that I'll be happy to perform. She will look better than my beloved N/A when I'm done with her.

Airflite paid $5200...

Xboost,

I may be interested in your trade provided their 15" and early offset with the wide wheels and new tires on them. My 16" Fuchs have new tires like barely any miles on them.

Yay for another Turbo owner. I'm glad to see you remember that Turbo is a proper noun around here, and that it always need be capitalized.

I was looking through your dislikes and they all seem easy to change, however the "howling sound from rear" is a bit ominous. Wheel bearings make squeal and rubbing noises, but every time I've thought to describe a particular noise in a car as "howling" it always ended up being the transaxle (or possibly torque tube in the 944's case).

Still no pics

j/k, congratulations on getting a good car at a great price!

you forgot to mention another plus: you know it doesn't leak water into the interior! Glad you and your car made it back safe through the storm
