I am going to do the thing. I have that "944" panel which I hate. Hopefully there is not much damage underneath.

Those matching light sections would be perfect for covering the holes on my 87 n/a. How did you come about those? Be easier than welding/sanding/painting everything.

I photoshoped the lights in BUT when I had a NEW 924 in the late 70's you could get just such a center filler. Think it was aftermarket and not the center filler the dealers put on. Would love to get my hands on one to see how it was made.

Just buy a spare set of lights and make you own. Cut and use ABS sheets to box em in.
