Default CAT longevity?

I'm curious who out there has high mileage cat converters? Mine has 225K miles on it and it seems to be O.K. - I pass emmissions with decent margin. Will they last indefinitely provided they are not run long with an over rich condition?

Mine is still going strong at 120k+. I did have to have a hole welded on the exhaust pipe though where the header is.

Mine is still OK at 130k miles. I've been oppotunistically looking for a low mileage replacement to squirrel away in the attic for the day when I need to replace it. We have annual smog tests here in Chicago with no rolling exemption.

I just replaced the original cat on the BMW at 205K miles. It was starting to rattle but still worked for emissions. I bought a MagnaFlow unit with 1/in-2/out piping which bumped the price up about $50.
