Rock guards, replace them or delete them?
I've purchased a '86 944 NA in May of this year and am slowly restoring it to a Concours d'Elegance condition. The car is driven several hundred of miles every weekend.
When I called 20th Street Auto to order replacements, they told me that they were not original and most 944s do not have them.
Both rock guards ( L and R rear, none on the front) on the car are cracked. Do I replace them or delete them?
If I was to replace them, any suggestions were I can get new ones?

Thanks Mike, I stand corrected.
I was concerned that Rock might think that I was trying to avoid him and his mishaps.
Do I replace the "mud guards or delete them?".

Look at your options and the original owners receipts to see if they were purchased from Porsche® Tequipment....I don't think they ever sold them.
Off the top of my head I would say delete them.
Good luck on the restoration.
